Vermont College of Fine Arts' first Interdisciplinary Conference, July 7-9, 2011. The conference is designed to address a growing interest among artists, graphic designers, and writers in crossing the boundaries and merging the commonalities of the various disciplines. VCFA held a Music Poster Exhibition  from July 7-9, 2011 as part of the first annual Interdisciplinary Arts Conference. .The show, titled Designing Sound: Forty Years of Poster Design for Yale University Musical Events, includes more than fifty posters created by an impressive roster of designers, all faculty, students and alumni of the Yale MFA program in graphic design.
